March 8th is International Women’s Day and this year, Coastal Women in Business will be supporting Grace House and raising funds of which all proceeds will go directly to their organization.
Grace House offers residential services for women/gender diverse people/transgender women, their children and pets who are experiencing violence. Grace House empowers women through the provision of emotional and practical supports and resources. In addition to providing immediate shelter and help Grace House provides clothing, housing, food, and transport to those who require it.
On April 21st we are holding a fundraising event at The Carlson Community Club. This is a burger and drink event with a raffle and silent auction to take place during the event. Tickets are $20.00 cash only and are available at Mother Nature, The Nutcracker Market, Springtime Nursery, Bloom Therapy, Simply Bronze Tanning & Swimwear and at the door on April 21st. A representative from Grace House will be available to speak and tell us more about Grace House and the amazing work they do for our city.
