The Cookie Gal Kitchen is a small-batch bakery offering freshly baked cookies and other nostalgic treats. I currently take weekly pre-orders through my website/social media and sell at local farmers markets and community events. Using family recipes and high-quality ingredients is important to me - keeping the love of scratch- baked goodies alive!

What brought you to Powell River?: My husband was born and raised in Powell River - we met in Vancouver in 2015 and a year or two later we both decided we were ready to ditch the hustle and bustle. We've been in Powell River since.
When you're not working, how do you like to spend your time?: I like to spend time cuddling my kitty cats, watching the latest new TV show or movie, or playing guitar and singing.
What’s the first career you dreamed of having as a kid? : Marine Biologist 😂
What's one thing about you that surprises people?: That I make my own brown sugar from scratch - the grocery store stuff just wasn't cutting it
What’s the best piece of advice you’ve ever been given?: To try my best to maintain good posture and stand up straight. Makes a world of difference when it comes to muscle strength and back pain (as I have learned over the years 😂)
What is a dream you have that you’ve yet to achieve?: I've always dreamt of being a regular somewhere singing and playing guitar. It's a hobby I really enjoy but I have stage fright!
What do you love most about your career? : I love that I get to make people smile with sugar! I know for me, after a bad day a sweet treat fixes me right up. Not only that but I get to listen to whatever music I want while I work - or even watch a movie or TV show while I work. It's awesome!
